Sapa Dragon Hotel, Sapa

My stay at the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were perfect for my family of three, with excellent facilities provided. The tasty food and the great location made it easy to explore Sapa town, especially with the close proximity to San Plaza for trips to Fansipan Mountain. The very warm and friendly service from the staff team added to the wonderful experience. However, the hotel is away from the center of Sapa, which may not suit all travelers.

The hotel has very nicely decorated, spacious rooms that are modern, clean, and comfortable. Although check-out time was on point, they were kind enough to provide an available room for a late departure after my overnight train journey. The room smelled good, was clean, and had a very nice shower.

Mr Tung, the reception manager, was exceptionally friendly and always went out of his way to accommodate our requests, even surprising us with a delightful cinnamon tea at no extra charge. The location was very convenient, just a three-minute walk from the town center on a quiet street. The dining experience exceeded our expectations with a wide variety of both Western and Asian selections. However, I did find the Neapolitan pizza to be a bit underwhelming. Overall, the hotel offers great value for money.

I had a very nice view to sleep in for a late departure. The room was not properly soundproofed as I could hear all the music events organized every evening in the local market even with earplugs. The bed was very comfortable, and there were good extras in the bathroom. The hot shower was a bonus, and the food was of a high standard.
